Lab Materials Needed for Science Experiments

My Project

My students are hardworking learners who learn best when they have hands-on experiences and can visualize challenging ideas. I strive to cultivate their curiosity and motivate my class by developing meaningful and authentic science learning experiences.

To ensure each of my students succeeds, I want to provide them the opportunity to engage in various collaborative investigations and experiments to explore phenomena and observe scientific processes.

These tools will help my students practice essential science skills, like carrying out a procedure and performing tests with multiple trials. The hot plate can be used in a variety of experiments and demonstrations to observe, model and visually display challenging concepts. For instance, I can use the hot plate for heat transfer labs and for students to infer how humidity and evaporation impacts the water cycle. The pocket scales will be useful for each group to collect mass data in different activities, like examining how mass is conserved during chemical reactions.

I am confident that having access to these supplies for experiments will boost engagement and critical thinking in my class. By donating to this project, you will provide my students with rewarding learning opportunities that will help them succeed. Thank you!
