This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our charter school is wonderful with fantastic teachers, staff, and students. Here, we all work hard every day to become the best we can be.

Here we pride ourselves on our ability to successfully teach all types of learners.

We do a fairly decent job of conducting simple experiments. We could do even more if we had the appropriate scientific equipment with which to measure, analyze and inspect science worthy materials. A 3D printer will

also provide state of the projects.

My Project

My Science team needs materials for our students. We don't have a lab facility, per se, but that doesn't stop us from developing great lessons that include multi-faceted experiments. Microscopes are an integral science tool. We really have none at present. With this grant, we will have 8 to share amongst our elementary and middle school students. It will be amazing to make slides that have been correctly created. The microscopes will provide students with authentic knowledge regarding microbiological studies.

Our current method for the simplest of experiments finds us raiding our respective kitchens to find measuring cups, and spoons.

The beakers we are requesting are high quality with the appropriate numerical values.

The 3D printer will give the kids an opportunity to use CAD software to create original projects which utilize STEM skills. We are encouraging our students to enter local science competitions which require products engineered to a specific set of criteria. Our kids

All of this equipment provides our terrific kids with an immediate academic advantage

which materializes into terrific grades and a positive school experience.
