Knowing that this entire donation came from your family makes it especially meaningful. This wasn't simply a shipment of books arriving in my classroom—it was a gift from a family in our own community who chose to invest in my students and in something that is incredibly important to me: helping kids become readers.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment we started unpacking and organizing the books, the students were excited. One of my favorite things has been watching some of my lower-level and more reluctant readers discover the huge selection of graphic novels. These are often the students who will tell me immediately, \"I don't like reading,\" or who struggle to find a book that feels manageable to them. Suddenly, they had choices. Lots of them.\r\n\r\nThey were pulling books off the shelves, flipping through them, showing covers to their friends, and trying to decide which one they wanted first. For some of my struggling readers, that excitement alone is a huge victory. Instead of me having to convince them to choose a book, they were trying to decide between several books they actually wanted to read.\r\n\r\nThat is exactly what I hoped this classroom library could become.\r\n\r\nThere is something particularly special about knowing that all of this came from a family right across the street. You saw something I was trying to build for my students and decided to help make it happen in a very big way. Thank you to your entire family for believing in my students, putting books into their hands, and helping me create a classroom where reading is something they can truly enjoy.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is already making a difference every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1779060515941,"projectUrl":"project/every-student-deserves-the-right-book/10294177/","projectTitle":"Every Student Deserves the Right Book","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. New","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9935396_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1770543294237","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9935396"},{"teacherId":9305084,"projectId":10268989,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our Physical Education classroom!
