My Students

My class is part of a brand new program to provide online learning to families that have chosen to stay at-home and learn during this crazy time. I am teaching children from all over our district from a variety of backgrounds. I have 25 students currently. However, the number fluctuates as children come in at various times for Covid.

My Project

I teach completely virtually. So I am constantly trying to find ways to make our lessons fun and engaging. Recently, the kids have requested more art projects that they can do from home. So I have been putting together craft kits that I deliver monthly. Wednesdays are our craft days and we complete the projects together. I have to make sure that all of my kids have all the supplies though and it is costly and time-consuming. We have also had great success with reading using magnetic wands and tiles as we read together.
