My Students

As a Kindergarten teacher, I have the pleasure to make my classroom safe and comfortable for my students. I want my students to feel important and excited to learn new things each day. I want to prepare my students with classroom materials that will keep them engaged.

Understanding your students is very important.

So, I try extremely hard to find out the things that interest my students. By knowing what games, sports, and toys my students enjoy, I can and will create lessons that will get them motivated and be successful.

My Project

Finding out what your students' interest are is extremely important. I have found that to spark my students' interest to read or write, I just have to find the right books and topics that they can relate to.

When you get to know your students and apply their interest in your teaching, they will become more engage and excited to learn.

By twisting and turning the Learning Bots, my Kindergarten students will be transforming letters and numbers into robots. They will improve their letter recognition skills and learning what numbers really mean, while having so much fun playing. My students love to build with the large blocks, but often they build their castles or towns-and then what? Having the cars and garages will motivate my students to build more and use their imaginations.

Learning letters and using their imaginations will help my students begin the process of reading and also writing creative stories.
