My Project

Small group learning is a very important part of the education process. During small groups students can practice skills they are struggling with, review previous lessons, and extend their learning. Small groups can be student led or teacher led to expand student knowledge.

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I will learn,” Benjamin Franklin.

Small group work allows students the chance to get involved with hands-on activities to help expand their learning.

The different size stackable stools will be used at different tables with varying heights to allow the students to grab a stool and work with their classmates on all sorts of different learning activities. The LCD boards will allow students to quickly jot down their thoughts, problems, or answers when working in groups. The dry erase table dots will give students a place to work out problems when working in teacher led small groups.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
