This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am so blessed to teach at a Title 1, special day school for students with disabilities. They are some of the most amazing people that I know. They love to come to school every day, even when they are sick. Unfortunately, due to their low socioeconomic status, they do not have money for basic supplies, including tissues.

We are requesting boxes of tissues for the classroom, individual tissue packs for students to carry in book bags, and Kleenex wipes to clean when they don’t get to a tissue in time.
