This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Five weeks ago, our district quickly shut down for two weeks. Within the first few days, the closure was extended until May 4th. A week ago, the closure was extended for the remainder of the year.

I am deeply saddened by this news, but understand the reason for the tough decision.

I am asking your support in acquiring resources that I could use to increase the quality of distance learning for my students.

My Project

I am asking your support in acquiring resources that I could use to increase the quality of distance learning for my students.

With your help, I will be able to drop off resources to make this closure more engaging and collaborative for all my students.

I will put the kinetic sand in baggies as a sensory support during visual instruction as well as a fun tool to be used during social Zoom hangouts. The workbooks will allow for supplemental learning to take place on a whole group level while also decreasing the amount of screen time my Owls will have each day. The other resources will allow for creative masterpieces to be created with the paper, crayons, scissors and glue. I can not thank you enough for your support!
