My Project

My 4th graders at Winchester Elementary are learning that kindness isn’t just a feeling—it’s a choice we make every day. Whether it’s helping a classmate, showing empathy, or staying focused during a tough moment, they’re building a classroom culture rooted in respect and compassion. I want to celebrate those choices in a way that’s joyful, meaningful, and memorable.

This project will help me create a Kindness Cart—a rolling reward station filled with student-favorite snacks like Goldfish, Pringles, and cookies.

When students go above and beyond in showing kindness or making positive behavior choices, they’ll get to choose a treat from the cart as a way to say, “You made someone’s day better—and that matters.”

The cart will be used during surprise celebrations, monthly incentive days, and special classroom moments. It’s more than snacks—it’s a way to reinforce emotional intelligence, build community, and help students feel seen and appreciated.
