Kindness and Valentine's Day!

Help me give my students construction paper and books to celebrate Valentine's Day and pass out kindness to others.

My Project

Kindness counts in kindergarten! It is important to teach and learn the impact kindness has on others at an early age. The different colors of construction paper will be used to create valentines and pictures for the local nursing homes. The kids will use their artistic talents and the craft scissors and paper to make valentines and pictures that will be given to the local seniors. The crayons will allow the children to use a variety of different colors in their creations. The folders will be used to keep their creations safe while continuing to make them.

The kindness books will introduce our unit on celebrating kindness and identifying acts of kindness that we can perform for others.

Kindness is an essential topic to explore in kindergarten.

The bracelets will be made to give to friends to promote kindness. The children in my classroom are special because they are eager to learn and want to help others. The goal of this project is to show the kindergarten kids how kindness is important and how it affects other people.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
