Kindles! Help Set My Student’s Mind on FIRE!

My students need an additional 9 Kindles to complete a classroom set to allow me to meet the individual needs of the children in my class.

My Students

My 3rd graders are bright and eager learners from all walks of life. I truly love that the backgrounds of these children are just as diverse as their learning levels and interests. The diversity in my classroom is primarily due to the connection to the military. Our school is approximately 50% military students. Our Title One school is 100% free lunch due to the recent and devastating Hurricane Matthew.

My main goal for my students is to foster a love of learning which will carry them through life producing kind, loving, and productive citizens enabling them to problem solve for our future endeavors.

These students become so excited and engaged in their personal learning through not only technology, but also creative lessons and cooperative learning. The students enjoy researching and reading on their own differentiated levels which is key to their success. As third graders, they are now able to choose topics of choice to engage and involve them in reaching their own personal learning goals. Please take this opportunity to invest in our future problem solvers. The students and I will truly appreciate your kind support.

My Project

I previously received 12 Kindles for my class and secured 20 protective covers. I want each of my students to have their own devise to individualize their learning. The additional 9 Kindles will complete my set.

My students become much more engaged in their personal education goals when they are encouraged to explore topics of their interest to meet specific academic standards.

Since my students have different reading levels and interests, the Kindles will allow each child in my classroom to meet his or her individual learning style through personal apps for all subjects. Being able to provide each child their own Kindle 7 will be a game changer! Again, my students and I will be forever grateful for your donation in making a complete set of Kindles for my classroom.
