My Students

Kindergarten English language development is a unique group of students. We are at all stages of language development and are always practicing our new language skills! Some of us come to school ready to read, and others have never been to school.

Our classroom is very interested in being active and learning about the world around us!

The students are diverse in their language, culture, and interests! Students work on English acquisition through exploration with science and play. They are ready to try and are so excited when they see their peers succeed!

My Project

Kindergarten is such a great year because we learn so many new skills! Learning different ways to sit so we can listen and be safe is a large part of our year. Wobble stools are the favorite choice of everyone in our classroom. The students that choose these seats are often more attentive to their work because they are able to move around. We are just limited to the six chairs that we currently have.

The donations to this project will help my students to learn to control their bodies.

When they are in a typical chair, they rock back and forth and often fall over. These stools let them move around and learn how to adapt the classroom to fit their needs!
