This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kindergarteners are just beginning their school journey as they learn their letters and sounds. These materials will be used for multi-sensory learning. Multi-sensory learning is beneficial to my students. They will use the screens to place under their paper as they form letters with the crayons. Once they have written the letters, they then can remove the screen and can trace the letters with their fingers. They will feel the bumps left by the screen and crayon. The paper will be used to make mini booklets for my students as they begin to write their letters and practice their sounds. The zipper pouches will be used to keep their school materials in.
