My Project

My students are kindergarteners at a public school in an urban area which consists mainly of low income families. They are just beginning their education and, therefore, come to school each day with excitement and a strong desire to learn. Being that my students are from impoverished homes they have not been exposed to many things outside of their neighborhoods. For my students school is the avenue needed to explore the world and to establish and reach their goals.

I am requesting a mobile standing desk so that I will be able to present lessons in a more effective and effective way.

The mobile desk will allow me to be able to move around the room to work with my students one to one or in small groups. This will help to improve their skills in all areas.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
