I work with kindergarten students at a wonderful neighborhood school in south Charlotte. We have a diverse student population, and we are dedicated to growing each student individually at their own ability level in all content areas. Our school is unique as it is a personalized learning school, focused on growing the whole child. We emphasize a growth mindset, setting personal goals, as well as having students track their progress toward those goals. The students at our school are eager learners, who benefit from hands-on experiences.
My Project
Kindergartners never stop moving and learning and I hope to inspire them to bring that energetic energy into the classroom by channeling it correctly!
The bouncy bands attach to the students seats so they are able to release energy and use their focus to focus on learning!
I know that my students would use these to improve their focus in the classroom. I am a firm believer that flexible seating in the classroom is only to students benefit and I would love your help to implement more flexible seating options!
I also would love some new puzzles for the students to use during choice centers in math. They love being able to complete puzzles together and collaborate together.
