Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work hard every day in class. They are learning important skills to help them become expert readers, writers, and mathematicians. They are also developing their social-emotional skills through their daily interactions and experiences in the classroom.

My students need to explore their artistic and creative sides, as well as their academic abilities.

The Lakeshore Trace & Draw Projector and the Lakeshore More Trace & Draw Slides I am requesting, will help my students use their imaginations to create and draw beautiful designs on the sturdy Lakeshore White Drawing Paper. The Lakeshore Peel & stick Collage Frames will allow my students to uniquely decorate their own picture frame which will also contain a photo of themselves to share with their families.

The Math Strategies Mini Poster Pack will provide support and review of important mathematical concepts such as; Using Fact Families, Using a Number Line, Writing a Number Sentence, Counting On, Looking for Patterns, as well as many other vital math concepts that my students use during math class and math centers.

These art materials I'm requesting will allow my students to relax, have fun, and explore their creativity through amazing works of art! The Math Strategies Posters will allow my students to review and access math strategies as needed throughout the day while working on math concepts.
