Kindergartners Learning with Technology and Individual Hands-On Activities During COVID-19
Help me give my students an opportunity to explore with hands on activities while social distancing and following COVID-19 regulations. The Learning Resources Luna 2.0 Interactive Easy to Use Digital Projection Camera will be imperative to teaching online.
I work in a Title I elementary school with approximately 50% of students receiving free and reduced lunches. Kindergarten is such an exciting time full of many challenges. This year is even more challenging with COVID-19 restrictions.
This year I have 2 hybrid groups (2 days in person learning and 3 days of online learning) of five and six year old students who will need individual supplies and new technology to facilitate learning.
My Project
Through the use of the document camera, my students in class as well as those at home using the hybrid class model, will be able to learn synchronously.
Having individual hands-on materials is a must this school year with COVID-19 restrictions so your generous donations of play doh and play doh tools will allow each child to have their own.
The laminating pouches will be put to good use and make it easy to wipe off the surfaces and keep the pages durable. As we socially distance, the individual mats will be be helpful during center time.
