This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The indoor/outdoor colorful balance beam set for kids is an open-ended wonderful wooden toy that will help my students with balance and coordination. It will help my students with muscle growth, gross motor skill development, and expand creativity and boost self-confidence learning.

The colorful wooden balance beam set will be used by my students to build many different geometric shapes.

This will give my students a variety of creative play, and help them learn the kindergarten math standard of learning geometric shapes by walking the balance beam after they build the shapes of a large hexagon, triangle, square or rectangle.

The speed agility ring sets will not only be used by my students for learning balance and agility and learning the geometric shape of circle, but also for learning the reading skill of phonemic awareness by playing a very fun engaging whole-body reading game. I will lay 2-4 rings out on the floor, side-by-side. I will give my students a word, and they will hop from ring to ring saying the sounds they hear in the word.
