I teach kindergarten students at a Title I school in Florida, where one hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn!
It is my hope to create group incentives for my kindergarten classroom.
My classroom has a variety of individual incentives for students, but I would like to motivate students to work together in teams as well. After having gone through a pandemic and coming back to socializing and being in group settings, it is my hope that the materials in this project will allow for more of a team building incentive. Students work each day with their classmates to earn points. At the end of each day each table can earn a team reward.
They new treasure box toys are the perfect addition and motivation for my students to work together to earn points!
Working together in the classroom my students are creating such a positive climate and culture. These new treasure box items would be such a fun reward for my students being on task and working together! We are hoping to get hot wheel cars, fidget spinners, candy, stampers and more.
