My Students

As a teacher at one of the most diverse public schools in our school district, my students come from a wide range of backgrounds and communities. Over half of our students are from low income households. Many are English language learners or qualify for special education services. As a teacher, I strive to help my students fall in love with learning while helping them develop skills and strategies.

Passionate learners, fun-loving kiddos, and future leaders, these are the students that I teach.

Representing the diversity of the city that we live in, my students are as dynamic in their lives as they are in their learning. This is a critical point in their lives as students because it is when they develop their passion for learning. Help them along the way!

My Project

This school year has been full of unique experiences! My students have adapted to many new ways of learning this year. Basic school supplies that are normally shared had to be used differently this year. The children have worked so hard that many supplies have been wiped out! I am so proud of them!

As this year has gone on, we have used up many of our supplies and would love to replenish them!

My students are in need of items to help support their crafting and learning. These items will be used to enhance their amazing art and science projects as well as organize their items.

The children in my class love learning in a fun and engaging manner. These supplies will help me give them the opportunity to wrap up kindergarten with learning opportunities that go beyond the basic paper and pencil activities!
