My Project

My students are incredibly optimistic and just love to learn. They love learning through play, experimentation, and through structured lessons. Being that my students are young, they are motivated through hands-on manipulatives. This project will help to build a library of manipulatives in my classroom.

These items will be absolutely beneficial to my students' learning!

This project will provide them with opportunities to have more hands-on experiences to build their fundamental skills. For example, counting tools will provide more manipulative options for students to be engaged while developing their number sense and math skills. Writing journals are crucial to providing a place for students to have lots of writing practice and to document their growth over the school year. Easel paper and mirrors will enhance phonics instructions while learning letters, sounds, word families, decoding strategies, rules, etc.

This project will help to impact student learning in so many ways!
