Help me give my students engaging STEM activities for the end of the year! This will help support our Beach Day with science, technology, engineering, and math activities.
Our Kindergarten classes participate in a Beach Day at the end of each year. This year we want to expand our activities to keep students engaged at the end of the year. We are using the sunglasses to promote learning outside and for a sink or float activity. The beach balls, tape, and cardboard rolls will be used to construct towers that will balance a beach ball. The cups will be used to build towers. Aluminum foil, chocolate, and marshmallows will be used to design their own oven to melt their s’more. Students will use the bubbles to explore to see who can blow the biggest bubble. The shrinkydink paper will be used to create an artistic drawing and see how it changes with heat. The picture frames will be used to create an end of the year memory for the students.
Our students love to participate in engaging hands on activities.
