Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we come to the end of a wonderful year in kindergarten, I want to give my students a special celebration to honor their growth and send them into summer with joy. With your support, I’ll create personalized gift bags for each child filled with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, colorful sunglasses, kinetic sand, a mini journal, a personalized bookmark, a memory book, and a drawstring backpack to hold it all. I’ll also be using a Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card to purchase fun, engaging end-of-the-year activities and printable resources to use during our final days together. We’ll wrap it all up with a classroom celebration complete with snacks, juice boxes, craft supplies, photo booth props, and certificates to recognize their achievements. This project will help create lasting memories and give each child a reminder of how much they are loved and how far they’ve come.
