My Students

My kindergarten students are excited to learn to read and learn about the world around them. Our goal is for all of them to be reading by the time they enter first grade.

I work with all the kindergarten students in our building.

They are energetic and excited to learn to read. They are working everyday to build their confidence and their reading ability. Some are already great readers while others are struggling to put everything together.

My Project

These science readers will be used during guided reading groups. The students will be learning about the world around them as they build their reading skills. We have very few leveled readers at their level that have science content. These books will allow our struggling readers to access the science topics.

Any donations for my project will allow my students to learn about the world around them while learning to read.
