Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are all unique and are a bunch of sweethearts. We live in the tip of Texas where poverty limits students’ abilities and experiences. My students love to ask questions. In this new technology era we need to keep busy and active. We must keep our memories with social distancing. I love my job and enjoy teaching them constantly making them think outside the box. There are not enough hours in the day to get it all and quench their thirst for knowledge. By taking the time to dedicate I make sure I make my part in creating a kinder world. Today they are my students tomorrow they will be tomorrow's leaders.

My Project

Help me provide a Kindergarten Memory Make and Take Portfolio for my students. Students are sponges and a wealth of knowledge. My students have gone through a roller coaster of emotions during the Pandemic. I want to showcase their artistic abilities, talents and progress since the beginning of the year. They need to express their social and emotional well being through a positive outlet using art and written expression. My students are heroes coming to school and learning. Remember this is a new era of education where its not a traditional kinder year. Help me try to make them a take home a Kindergarten Memory Make and Take Portfolio to take home to cherish forever.
