Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
At the kindergarten level, my classroom is centered around hands-on projects and activities! My students learn best through multi-sensory, hands-on, instruction!
I have a diverse group of creative and independent Kindergartners!
Every student in my classroom loves to learn and is SO proud when new concepts are mastered! We are at the point in the school year where my students are reading. They feel so accomplished, which they should, it is such an exciting time!
My Project
I will use my wobble stools for additional flexible seating options in my classroom! My kids have a few options now but the stools are by far their favorite and I do not have enough for everybody. Flexible seating promotes movement while learning. Flexible seating also helps students sit for longer periods of time and gets their bodies moving when necessary. In addition, I am in need of additional center activities to promote brain development, and motor skill growth. The activities that I have put on my wish list will keep my students focused and learning.
My students will grow with all of the materials that I have listed!
