Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach kindergarten to 26 of the sweetest, most loving, caring, and smartest 5-year-old kids. They love coming to school to learn and to be part of something special. I strive each day to make each day the best ever.
My favorite thing about teaching kindergarten is that every day is a new day, and they are so full of wonder!
I've taught at the same school for the past years, and it is the same school I attended as a child. Every year I am given the best class and this year is no exception! I call them my Rockstars, and I hope that they know how much I love having them in my class!
My Project
We were very lucky to be the recipients of some Hot Dots to use in our small group centers, but we need more materials to go with them. We are requesting the math card activity sets that go with the new Hot Dots so we can practice our math too. The students have had great success with the Hot Dots and Language Art activities that we would like it to be carried over to our Math time.

This Chinese proverb always holds true to students and their education. In my classroom, there are so many needs and levels of each child. These Hot Dot activity cards will help me to differentiate the student's learning as well as give them an additional resource to help them understand. They will be used daily in our small group math time.
