My Students

Kindergarten is the place to be and the beginning of each and every student's educational careers. Kindergarten is the foundation for every student to be successful. In kindergarten we are learning to line up, write, color, spell, read, be a good student and so much more. There are so many new things we are learning each and every day. Kindergarten is not like it was twenty years ago, let alone five years ago. We are reading, writing sentences and meeting standards that were accomplished by first graders a few years ago.

I would like to instill the joy of learning and also be successful with social skills.

Every kindergartner should enjoy coming to school. By having a wonderful place for them to play, and explore it will hopefully instill that love of learning.

My Project

Kindergartners are learning new things every day. We are learning to share, wait our turn, being kind to people and our things. Play is a foundational skill that helps us grow and learn throughout our day to day life. By using STEAM materials during our recess and play time, we will grow our academics and social skills.

Inside and outside recess is a great place for students to learn essential skills for every day life.

We as little learners need things to fidget with and explore while we are playing. Our current playground is set up for the older students. The wiggly cars, fidget toys, playground toys and Steam toys will allow us to be kindergarteners. We would enjoy some tools to make school a place we love to come to every single day. Kindergarten not only teaches academics but also social-emotional skills to be successful.
