This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is very different from how it used to be. The California State Standards are very rigorous. Kindergarteners are expected to be blending sounds to read and writing complete sentences before first grade. Class time is very focused, they are expected to pay close attention in order to learn. Kindergarteners are amazing little people! That is why I love to work with them!

Recess time is an important time to get a brain break.

Exercise helps kids to have better focus during learning time. Students need to run and play. They need to share and collaborate to play games. The playground balls, soccer goal, and No-Kink hoops will help them to do just that!
