My Students

My students are eager, excited, and anxious to learn! Kindergarten is a new adventure for them, and every day is new and exciting. Every activity we do, every book we read, everything they learn is their first exposure to school and education. I want to keep their natural love of learning and excitement for school alive, which is why I want new supplies and games for them to be excited about at school.

I want my students to know that school is a place where they are accepted and loved!

My students still have that twinkle in their eye and are excited to learn new things. They are naturally curious, and I love to watch them develop new skills. They love school and trying new things. If I can get them to develop a love for learning early, I feel it will continue with them for the rest of their lives.

My Project

My kindergarten students are starting their educational experience, and most of them for the time, given the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of my students did not have a preschool experience and are lacking some of the basic phonological and phonemic awareness skills needed in kindergarten. These games and activities will engage my students and help them develop those basic skills they need to succeed in their school future. Many of my students are also in need of opportunities to practice social and emotional skills that need extra practice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These resources are very interactive and will allow my students to practice working in groups, sharing, and taking turns.
