Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is an amalgamation of things that will make our Kindergarten class even more fun and organized. My kids LOVE puzzles. Alphabet puzzles are perfect for Kindergarten and the shape puzzles promote out-of-the-box thinking. The house structures with block gems will be part of our storytelling center. We will use the pouches to store the puzzles and center materials.

We have used the stretchy band in music class.

The kids loved working together to stretch it out and keep a steady beat. We only get music for a few weeks out of the year, so having a band to keep in our classroom would help me to bring music class back into the classroom.

We use personal whiteboards every day in class. They take a beating over the year so we need a new class set. I also use black card stock for our many art projects. A paper cutter will be very useful to have in the room to prep for said art projects.
