As we approach the end of the school year, I can't help but feel nostalgic. It feels like just yesterday when we welcomed these bright young minds on their very first day of kindergarten. I can still vividly recall the mix of emotions - some children full of excitement and others a bit hesitant, holding onto their parents tightly.
Regardless of how they entered our classroom, it's heartwarming to see how much they have grown and developed over the year.
They leave us now not only a bit older but also wiser and more mature than when they first walked through those doors.
Throughout the year, our students have diligently worked on mastering various state standards, from math to reading, science, and social studies. Their progress has been remarkable, surpassing all our expectations.
To celebrate their achievements, we have planned a special kindergarten fun day. This day will be filled with outdoor games and activities meant for them to enjoy together as a group before they embark on their summer adventures. The activities include using hula hoops, a parachute, bubbles, hopscotch, an egg race, and jump ropes. These items are meant to be shared among all the students, fostering a sense of togetherness and fun.
It is my hope that this day will be etched in their memories as a highlight of their kindergarten experience, filled with laughter, friendship, and a sense of accomplishment.
