Help me give my students materials that will help them establish phonological and other early reading skills. These materials will also help them develop those early math skills and social emotional skills.

My Students

My Kindergarten students are some of the students who spent their toddler and preschool years quarantined during the Covid pandemic. They missed out on so many experiences that help us grow. They missed out on library story times, play time with neighbors and other children their age. I want to help them learn these skills that they might have missed out on.

My Project

Many of my students missed some of the important stepping stones of early development. Parents have been stressed about jobs, money, sickness and all of the overwhelming things that came with Covid-19. Many haven't been able to spend time helping their students develop the skills that they need for Kindergarten and going into 1st grade.

With these items I will be able to help my students learn those early literacy skills.

I will help them learn those sounds in words and work towards connecting the sounds to the written word. I will also be able to expand their vocabulary by being able to read them new books everyday.

Some of these students haven't developed very many social skills using some of the games and toys I will be able to help them learn how to share, take turns and be respectful to each other.
