In Kindergarten we spend a LOT of time on our rug. We talk, sing, read books together, share, dance, and so much more.
Our classroom needs a rug where we all can fit comfortably and have our own space.
We will use this rug many, many times throughout the day. We will sit around it to share stories, sing songs, spread out and write stories while getting comfortable (if we choose to lay down), dance, etc. This rug will be our classroom gathering spot where we all feel welcomed and accepted.
