Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I have such a great kindergarten class with so many different personalities.

I am asking for some nameplates, handwriting paper, and folders as well as some fun learning resources.

I thought it would be really fun to get a microphone for the class for the "weather reporter" of the week to give a really fun daily weather report using the voice changer. This microphone will also be great for students to share their writing and be heard by the whole class. Some of our students over the years are too shy to project their voice. The alphabet mystery box is great for developing phonemic awareness and beginning letter sounds. This can be used all year with different items. The giant timer will keep students right on track throughout the day as we move from activity to activity. The folders are ones that will actually last all year (and for other school years) without getting ruined and ripped. Students use folders every day to take home and for writing. The magnetic letters and writing boards will be used every day for our morning message, for writing, and for phonics.
