My students need one cart with a magnetic dry erase board which will store and display big books and markers.

Hello! I am a kindergarten teacher at a school located in a very low socio-economic area. I am responsible for teaching my students math, reading, writing, language arts, science, social studies, and health. I am sad to say that I have very little parental involvement both at home and school. Which in turns hurts my students academics. What they learn, they learn mostly at school. My school has also been designated a Barksdale Reading Institute School, which has helped us tremendously!
This year, my students are very interested in reading and writing. Compared to years pasts, handwriting skills from my students this year go above and beyond what they have before. Also, they are very interested in reading. I am fortunate enough to have big books in my room, but nowhere to display them. Also, we are very active in Accelerator Reader, but again have no place to display and discuss our books we are reading.
My class already has the excitement in their hearts about Reading and Writing, now all we need is the materials. This project will serve so many purposes and will not only help with Reading and Writing, but also in every subject they are taught! Being able to see big books and literature of all types will enable them to be better students as they mature. Also, being able to practice writing skills will allow them to grow and develop to be better students in all areas.
Your help with this project will make it possible for my students to have a strong foundation in reading, writing, and all subjects they are taught! Not only will this help them this year, but they will have skills and knowledge to take with them throughout their academic career!
