I always make a big deal about packages coming and new fun stuff. My students go wild with excitement. My students and I complete the calendar math activity daily and focus on calendar skills and tracking the days in school. This calendar not only helps track the days in school but it also is a visual for place value. This is a skill that they will need in first grade. My students really understand place value and the teachers next year are going to be amazed.\r\nThe alphabet train and crystal climbers are games that have enhanced critical thinking. The train puzzle helps them use the alphabetic sequence and if I really want to mix it up, they can complete the puzzle backwards. The crystal climbers gives the students a chance to build and create castles and objects. They really love to build. We use the clear adhesive roll to place desk plates that can be removed with ease. I tried packing tape one year and spent hours picking it off the table.\r\nI feel so blessed that there are people that continue to think that education needs assistance. There are so many things that really improve learning but it is hard to get the money to purchase them.\r\nThank you for believing in me and my students.
