My Project

My students love to play. They are active and always on the go, so they need variety and movement. They are tactile and learn best when moving and playing.

Two of my kindergartners' favorite things to do is play bingo and use their dry-erase boards for everything.

The variety of bingo games will allow them to learn in a fun and interactive way, not realizing that the games they are playing are actually strengthening the skills they need to learn. They use their dry-erase boards to write letters, numbers, and sight words, as well as solve addition problems.

This project also includes other games and hands-on activities that students can utilize for tactile learning. Puzzles and books are some of the other things that my students enjoy. Rhyming has been a challenge for them, so the additional practice in fun, interactive ways will help them be successful with this important pre-reading skill.
