This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I absolutely adore the curiosity and enthusiasm my students bring to the classroom every day. Each one is unique, with their own strengths and challenges, but they all share a hunger for learning that's truly inspiring.
The resources I'm requesting for this project, specifically the reading centers, will make a significant difference in their learning by providing hands-on experiences that cater to various learning styles.
With activities focused on phonemic awareness, like letter-sound recognition games and rhyming exercises, these centers will offer opportunities for my students to explore and practice foundational reading skills in a fun and engaging way.
My primary goal for this project is to foster a love for reading while laying a strong literacy foundation for my students. By making learning enjoyable and interactive, I aim to instill confidence in their reading abilities and set them up for success in their academic journey.
What makes my students special is their resilience and eagerness to learn. Despite any obstacles they may face, they approach each day with enthusiasm and a willingness to try new things. It's a privilege to be part of their educational journey and witness their growth firsthand.
