Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

It's hard to believe that in about 1 month, the helpful, eager to learn, silly, loving, brilliant kindergarteners that entered through my doors in August, will be exiting through those same doors and heading to 1st grade. It has been an amazing year thus far and I am extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to witness the growth of these amazing little humans. I would like to send my students off with a nice treat that is fun and engaging. In this project, I have included fun summer items, such as bubbles and sunglasses for students to enjoy during their summer break. I have also included sight word flash cards, 1st grade workbooks, and a book for students to read to help them prepare for their transition to the first grade. I am extremely proud of how much my students have grown this school year and can't wait to see their continued growth through 1st grade. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
