Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a Title I elementary school with a population of students mostly from different countries. The majority of our students come from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Cuba. The majority of them have never been in a school setting or have had any type of formal classroom experience. These students are economically disadvantaged and having the essential tools needed to learn will motivate them to be successful learners.

These flexible seating options, puzzles, plastic trays, and dry erase erasers will make a huge difference in helping to make their educational experience a positive one.
