This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are so creative and enjoy working on projects. I teach kindergarten students that live in a low income community. They often do not have access to art materials to create their own projects. Some of my students have never even painted on an easel! Any donations will be appreciated!

My Project

My kinder students will enjoy creating art projects utilizing these materials. Many of my students do not have access to any art materials. Art projects promote creativity as well as build fine motor skills. Art helps to develop problem solving skills as they create different types of visual representations.

My students will benefit from these materials as they understand themselves and their world through self esteem and self expression.

Art activities engage student senses in open ended play and improve attention span. Student visual analysis can assist in understanding concepts like distance, space, texture and size.
