Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first grade students are English language learners living in a working-class neighborhood. Many are low income with working parents that sometimes struggle to provide the academic or extracurricular support the children need. With your help, I hope to build the best equipped classroom to prepare them for college and future careers.

My students are smart, funny, eager learners!

As a whole, they enjoy everything I bring to them, from math to science to reading and writing. They are always ready for the next adventure and I'm happy to be their fearless leader.

My Project

This reading library contains quality and popular titles which will excite my readers to improve their reading skills. When children have interesting reading material they become excited about reading.

One size does not fit all!

With this library, I'm able to provide differentiated instruction and move children from level to level. struggling students get to feel successful and become eager learners. Higher readers are not bored by grade level texts, they're simply encouraged to climb higher in their reading journey.

Leveled readers are the key to reading. Help me get my kids soaring in reading with this awesome collection of books at different levels.
