This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a second year teacher, I have done my best to create a classroom environment that all my students feel safe and comfortable in. In a large district, it is uncommon for us to get new furniture and materials each year. Thanks to DonorsChoose, I have gathered new materials, but we still need some support.

Every day, my students spend time in small groups and centers working with me at my kidney table.

The problem? The table I have is not quite large enough for every student as they grow. Providing my students with a new kidney table will allow my students to experience success in small group learning and intervention, and be comfortable while doing so. We appreciate your consideration!
