My Students

I am a first-year teacher beginning this Fall. I have not met my students yet but I am very excited to start teaching! I am looking forward to incorporating powerful learning experiences into my classroom from the get-go.

I want every student I work with from day one to receive the most engaging and passionate educational experience I can facilitate for them.

I will be working with students in a highly diverse area and I am looking for ways to engage many students from a wide range of backgrounds.

My Project

The 40-hour Teacher Workweek workshop is designed to help teacher balance school and home life. It has helped teachers work smarter and more efficiently and allows them to have more time and energy while they are at school with their students. This will help me personally as a first-year teacher to develop these habits right away. I am very passionate about teaching and this workshop will help to maintain that passion and prevent teacher burnout. It will also allow me to become a part of a strong teaching community that can help boost me throughout this year-long workshop.
