Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager, creative students who come to school excited to learn. They see school as a safe learning space where they can thrive. The majority of my students are English language learners who are also from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Their parents typically work several jobs to provide them with everything they need.

Due to these challenges, I strive to have everything necessary to create a community feeling in my classroom and ensure they are successful in my TK classroom.

Receiving the balls will enable us to enjoy our outdoor physical education. My students currently have no balls and when we go outside for PE, they are unable to use our basketball hoop or play soccer on the grass since we have no balls.
