Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My TK (transitional kindergarten) class is made up of a very unique group of students. For many, this is their first school experience and they come in ready to learn. They are eager little learners who love to explore, experiment, and create. My students are very curious and excited when learning something new. I love to see them be creative and use their imaginations. I would love to provide more opportunities for them to keep learning and growing.

TK is the place to learn the skills necessary to build a strong, solid learning foundation.

They are able to reach their goals in a class where they can have hands-on learning experiences. Being able to manipulate and actually see how something works gives them a better understanding. In TK, we grow, play, and learn together in a positive, safe learning environment. I am so proud of all my creative little thinkers!

My Project

The Learning Locks will provide many practice opportunities for my students to work on letter recognition and letter matching skills. They will also be able to practice beginning sounds and reading simple CVC words.

The Learning Locks will provide the keys to learning essential math and phonics skills.

The counting keys will help them practice counting and simple addition. They will also be able to practice sorting and patterning skills. These materials will provide hands-on experiences that are key to learning essential foundational skills! Thank you for helping provide the keys for success!
