I teach kindergarten to 33 students in a high-need community. My classroom has several students with learning disabilities and second-language learners. We often incorporate art projects into our curriculum that we would like to have as keepsakes.

My students make great projects, however our school's lamination machine has been broken for a couple of years. We have not been able to get a new one due to funding costs. At the beginning of the school year, we made a replica of a newspaper. In it, we describe our first day of school and all the fun we had. We took pictures and tore up newspaper to glue it on to the perimeter of the paper. The project was a huge success, except we could not laminate it.

We truly need a lamination machine to preserve our students' projects and display their work without the fear that it will be ruined. It will also benefit our school, since we do not have a working lamination machine. Our students love stickers and they are a great incentive to motivate our students to do great things.
