Keeping Up With Current Events

My students need a weekly subscription to Time For Kids Magazine Grades 4-6.

There is so much going on in the world today and my students are out of touch! I teach 5th grade in a high-need community in New York and my students are unaware of what is going on in the world around them.

My students are so passionate about life and have tons of personality. They are interested in everything that I put in front of them. I would love to take the opportunity to expose them to current events, but the newspaper can often be so boring to 5th graders.

I need 25 copies of a weekly subscription to Time For Kids Magazine, Grades 4-6. Time For Kids presents current events in a kid-friendly, attractive manner. My students will love it! This will be their stepping stone to becoming empowered and knowledgeable citizens.

If my students receive these kid-friendly magazines, I know that just making them aware of what is going on in the world will impact them in such a profound way that, ultimately, my students WILL make a difference in our world. And...that will be because of you!
