This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a counselor, it is always helpful to have reproducible materials for in-class Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons as well as for individual counseling sessions with students.
Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) is an invaluable resource; materials are created by fellow counselors, who create engaging lesson materials that focus on critical (and developmentally appropriate) social skills.
I like to come to lessons armed with engaging activities, and Teacher Pay Teachers keeps me from "reinventing the wheel" by allowing me to utilize materials that have already been carefully crafted for these age groups.
